Milt and Cami's visit

Milt and Cami and of course, the kids, came up to visit us for the Thanksgiving holiday. It was so much fun!!! I am so glad that they came up. Toma had a blast playing with Elli and Shawn, and with Cami. She just loved her. We had been invited to Thanksgiving dinner by a family in our ward, and they extended the invite to our guests when we told them they were coming up. So we ate with the Alico family up here. It was good food (except some weird rolls) and good company. It was kind of strange because we barely know them, just from both being primary teachers, but it was nice anyway. We enjoyed playing the piano, talking, and watching the kids play with all the toys. On Friday we relaxed during the morning and then went to a mall about an hour away with the intent on finding a new game to buy and play, but there were no game kiosks or stores in the mall (bummer) We ended up doing some Christmas shopping as well as window shopping. The kids did good for most of the day, but they started getting bored and hungry towards the end. We went to Olive Garden for dinner (YUM!) and all got a kick of watching Elli eat her spaghetti with her hands. She had it ALL over her face! Saturday we went down to Providence, Rhode Island to the Children's museum. The kids LOVED it!! It was a really neat place. They had a big ship to play on, a water room with a bunch of water toys, blocks, balls, skeletons, a small store, and a bunch more. I think the kids would have stayed there all day if they weren't getting hungry and tired. But they loved it, well, Toma didn't love this big clown on the wall. You could pull a lever and move its mouth, and Cami started pulling it hard and it freaked Toma out. She just screamed. And she remembered where it was, we went to a junk music show and the room was right next to the clown, and she cried as we went in and when it was time to leave and we started heading out the door, she held on like her life depended on it and just cried. Other than that, they loved it. Milt and Cami stayed for Sacrament meeting on Sunday because I was speaking and then they took off for the long (about 12 hours) drive back home. We had a blast with them and were sad to see them go. (Thanks again for coming up you guys!) We hope you all had a wonderful holiday too!

What a great time you had with them! Thanksgiving wasn't the same without you 7 people. You should see your mom and dad's. Big changes are going on there!

We really had so much fun up there!!! I had to wonder on the way up there if it was going to be worth it because of the long drive, but it was! It was so great to see you guys and we had so much fun spending time with you. My only wish is that you lived Just a little closer so we could do it much more often. Love you all!!!
